as you can read in his comment, our friend Pellicola suggested that we watch Il posto (1961) and I Fidanzati (1963) by Ermanno Olmi (see photo at the end of the page). We have both of them, luckily, released in the excellent Criterion Collection.
For sure, among the next screening we'll have La Ciociara (by Vittorio de Sica, 1960, see photo), then we could show one Olmi.
I think we have about 5 Wednesdays left...but Mondays are also availabe for us at the VVR...
